The native AI plugin for DaVinci Resolve
Blackmagic official partner

Your words,in motion.

Vibe Kinetic listens to your sequence, picks the lines worth showing and turns them into art-directed kinetic text. Each one is rendered as a clip with a transparent background and placed on your DaVinci Resolve timeline.

Not subtitles: hooks. The punchline, the number, the payoff, typeset like a motion designer would. Pick a style, write a brief, generate. Native to DaVinci Resolve.

How it works

Three steps. Hooks that look designed.

  1. Style & brief

Pick a look, say what matters.

Start from a style preset (Institutional, Cinematic, Apple Message, White Pairing…). It fills the brief, which you can rewrite in plain words.

  2. Generate

    Clips land on the timeline.

The AI picks the moments, art-directs each line and renders it with alpha. Every clip is cut to the exact in and out point, above your footage.

  3. On screen

Words that move with the voice.

Play it back: each hook reveals word by word, one typography for the whole video. Move, trim or delete clips like any other.

FAQ

What you're probably wondering.

It listens to your sequence, picks the lines worth putting on screen, art-directs them (typography, colour, animation, word highlights) and renders each one as an animated clip with a transparent background, placed on your timeline at the right moment.

No. It writes short on-screen hooks (the punchline, the number, the payoff) the way a motion designer would, not a word-for-word transcript. For full subtitles, use Smart Subtitles.

Start from one of 6 style presets, then edit the brief in plain language. Set texts per minute (2 to 15) and seconds on screen (2 to 10). In Advanced settings, lock your palette, the placement and up to 3 fonts installed on your machine.

The captions are rendered video clips with alpha, not text layers. Move, trim, delete or re-order them freely. To change the wording or the style, adjust the brief and run again.

It depends on the length of your sequence. The panel shows an estimate on the Generate button before you run it.

Vibe Kinetic works in DaVinci Resolve, on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows. You need a saved project and a sequence with audio.
